Sebioli Visitor Information Center
Sebitoli information center is Kibale’s secondary tourism centre in the north of the forest and an information center in Kibale Forest National Park. It is recommended to people who are interested in birding and would like to make it a stopover. While at Sebitoli, visitors can engage in mainly three (3) activities including;
- Guided forest / nature walk (1-2hrs) that takes you into the forest learning about different tree species and appreciation of nature. On this and on other trails that lead to the forest, you will be able to see a number of monkeys including, black and white colobus money, red-tailed monkey, vervet monkeys and blue monkeys.
- Waterfall hike (about 1hour) as you go with your guide to the waterfalls as you go deep in the forest.
- Birding with different species of bird species. Visitors may also spot a variety of aquatic, forest and savannah birds and enjoy views of the Mpanga River.
